Its reversible transformation to a non-stoichiometric ore is the distinctive characteristic of this material.
Ceriumoxidehas an average density of 7.13g/cm3 as well as a melting temperature of 2397. Cerium oxide is insoluble with water and alkali but can be slightly dissolved by acid. Hydrogen reduction ceriumoxide can be used to achieve cerium oxide at temperatures of 2000 and 15, mph. It is also soluble in alkali and water.

Cerium oxide CeO2 powder performance:
To make cerium oxide, hydrogen can reduce cerium oxide to a solution at 2000 degrees Celsius and 15 MPa. The cerium oxide is used in the manufacture of polishing and catalyst materials, catalyst carriers, catalysts (auxiliaries), fuel cell electrolytes as well as automobile exhaust absorbers, electronic ceramics, and other applications.
