The gas-based reduction manganese oxide is a method of making manganese carbide. Once you have mixed manganese dioxide, water, and binder together, the dry block can be placed in a mixture containing H2, CMC, CO, and N2. Then, it is calcined at 1100 1300, which is manganese carbide products. Here are the specific steps. The mass percent of -325 mesh size refers to 90% analytically purified manganese dioxide, trimanganese troxide and mixed with 0.5% CMC. Finally, pelletization and drying take place. After drying, the sample is placed in an atmosphere of 10% CMC, 30% H2, 10% CO and 50% N2, at a temperature 1150degC. The calcination process takes 120 minutes. Next, it is placed in an N2 atmosphere. After cooling down to room temperature the obtained manganese carbide product can be converted into manganese dioxide at 95%.
