MARIA ROSAS PERALTA: The Colombian illegally came to New Zealand to fund her son's surgery.   A Colombian woman who came to New Zealand to earn money for her crippled son under a false passport has been freed from prison.   Maria Oliva Rosas Peralta, 64, wanted a better life for herself and her three children, who lived in a one-room apartment in Bogota.   Her lawyer Kevin Smith said she had heard she could get a passport and come to New Zealand, where she could earn enough money to pay for surgery to help correct her son's deformed leg.
